I’m Coach Fabián Soto.

I grew up in Santiago, Chile and started training in martial arts when I saw Royce Gracie for the first time in UFC. It has been 6 years since then, and during that time I’ve been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Pacific Top Team in Santiago and the US. I now have a purple belt.

One of the most important things I’ve received in my life is the Instructor’s Certification I received from Professor JP Garcia of Pacific Top Team. Since there aren’t many professionals teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Chile, it will help me spread BJJ in my country.

Jiu jitsu is my passion and now I can make this my work, something invaluable. It’s one of the best feelings someone can have, knowing that I can teach others what Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu really means and can help students achieve their goals. I can’t wait to change their lifestyle to a better and healthier way. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Chile is growing day by day. There are many important academies that have seen the potential our country has and are opening locations here. It’s really important that this happens, since it will help the spread of this are throughout the entire country. To be teaching in a professional manner, you have an obligation to the community to invest in it so you can better the schools, community, and the lifestyle people have.

I want to make sure that any kid who wants to train in Santiago can train. There is still much poverty in my hometown, and I hope to help change that by giving kids the important skills learned in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a young age.
