Join us in support of our mission to help underprivileged children around the world change their lives through the martial art of Jiu-Jitsu. The International Jiu-Jitsu Education Fund was founded in 2016 in Los Angeles by Professor Erik Klinger (3rd degree Black Belt) to help empower children across the globe by sharing the potentially life saving skills of this gentle art. IJEF has taken American instructors to six foreign countries to help train underprivileged children and foreign instructors. Children are given Gis (uniforms), mats are provided for training and foreign instructors are compensated. All of this is done through donations. We believe in the power of Jiu-Jitsu to change lives through discipline, self-confidence, respect, integrity, and dignity. Please help us roll towards a better world today.
On September 18, 2021, we are hosting our Inaugural Gala in Minnesota. There will be a seminar by donation that morning at M Theory Martial Arts in St. Louis Park with Professors Erik Klinger, Ishmael Bentley and more from 10:00-12:00pm CST. Join us later in the day for our Gala with a cocktail hour and silent auction beginning at 6:00pm at Rosehenge Hall (20732 Holt Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044). A fabulous three course meal will be catered by Celebrity Chef Drew Cohen. In addition to exciting silent auction items, live auction and live donor bidding will take place among our action packed program, including a cultural dance, keynote speakers, a special video from our roll models around the world and more.
*Ticket sales will open on our website https://bit.ly/IJEFGala2021 on August 23rd. Tickets are $85 (early bird pricing) until 1 week prior. On September 10th, the price increases to $100 per ticket.
Please note a portion of your Gala ticket (value estimated at $50) is tax deductible less what you receive in food and beverage. Please consult your tax professional as IJEF disclaims all tax liability.
